Seattle teenager Nikhil Bagga has been playing the national anthem on electric guitar at his hometown Kraken NHL games for a few years now, and so it seemed natural that when Seattle hosted the outdoor Winter Classic on New Year’s Day, they’d ask Nikhil to perform it.
He did, and absolutely knocked it out of the park (fitting, since it was played at the Mariners’ ballpark. Yeah, I had to do it.).
